Green Release Raffle · 9 June 2021

Lakelands Hospice at Home nurses have cared for 733 patients with dignity and respect in the last few days/weeks of their lives, in their own homes, surrounded by their loved ones. With your help we are hoping to raise £20,000 in June.

Story

I am trying to make money for Lakelands Day Care, they provide a caring facility for ill patients and also provide hospice at home care for patients in their last 4 weeks of life, to ensure they are able tk be at home with their families. These Nurses took amazing care of my Brother and came out at all hours of the night to ensure he was as comfortable as possible in his last days. They are not Government or NHS funded, all money is raised through charities and efforts like this.

Our team of dedicated nurses support patients so they can die peacefully, with dignity, in their own home surrounded by their loved ones. This service is provided free of charge to all patients and their families.
