Great North Run 2023
Campaign by Myeloma UK (RCN SC026116)
Our incredible Myeloma UK team will be running 13.1 miles to help make myeloma history.

Story

Our story is quite simple, we have previously run the Great North Run in 2021 and 2022 and it is unquestionably the world's greatest half marathon event! We were all really keen to sign up for a third year to raise money for a great charity that helps so many people affected directly and indirectly by Myeloma.

Personally, it is a charity very close to my heart, and we were only too keen to help as much as we can even in our own little way by running a few miles here and there, and taking part in this magnificent event that really does such incredible fundraising and well, the support is unreal!

Phil Courtney - take a bow - every year … no questions asked… he’s in!

Such a pleasure to be able to shout Oggy Oggy Oggy in the tunnel, and then run over the Tyne Bridge  at least once every year!

So, if you could spare even £1or £2, no matter how small, it would be incredible as it really is a privilege to be able to run this fantastic event every year for such an incredible and worthwhile charity.

Thank you so much — I’m coming Newcastle …
