Story

In 2016, my life was turned upside down when my second child, Maggie-Mae, was born with leukaemia.

Despite being incredibly poorly, Maggie-Mae managed to hold on tightly to life and responded well to GOSH's incredible treatment.

Maggie appeared to have beaten the disease until 2 days after her first birthday when it returned and Maggie quickly became critically unwell.

Again GOSH were able to offer life saving treatment and help little Maggie-Mae get well enough to receive what should have been a life saving bone marrow transplant.

Unfortunately though, the leukaemia Maggie had was extremely aggressive and returned days after transplant, 5 days later little Maggie-Mae died.

Being Maggie-Mae's mummy is a role that fills me with the deepest pride. In her 18 short months of life, Maggie taught us the meaning of living and loving fully.

It is now my life's mission to ensure that Maggie's message of living and loving fully continues. In her name I am dedicated to supporting those who have had their life divested or changed unrecognisably by childhood cancer.

Together we can find kinder and more effective ways to treat childhood cancer and allow children to LIVE happy and full lives.
