This summer, Groupon will be joining Barnardo's mission to bring some sunshine into the lives of the children, young people and families they support. 

Whilst, for many of us, summer is a time of happiness and freedom, for many children and young people, the reality of this time of year can be very different. Though it can have its own challenges, school can provide a vital lifeline for many young people, often giving them a safe space in which to express themselves and to feel nurtured and supported. Without it, many children can find themselves increasingly lonely, anxious, misunderstood and even unsafe.

Barnardo's wants all children and young people to be able to experience the joy of summer, and to know that they still have someone to turn to when their daily routines are on hold. 

Throughout August and September, we will be working with Barnardo’s to enable Groupon teammates worldwide to sponsor vulnerable young people during the summer break, making sure that no child goes unseen this summer!
