This is your opportunity to get dressed up and help a great cause at the same time. The Druk White Lotus School (www.dwls.org) helps give the poor children of the mountainous region of Ladakh, India, a better chance at life. This is a great cause and, as it is lesser known, contributions make even more of a difference.

Tickets are only £10 and all of it goes to charity!  All you need to do to buy tickets is make a small £10 donation per ticket via this Justgiving page.  Anyone wanting to donate even though they can't make it or because they are so bowled over by the worthiness of the cause are more than welcome to!

Our venue is a great little pub called the Punch Tavern (www.punchtavern.com) and we have it to ourselves for the whole night from 6pm. There's plenty of music including a set by Lip Service, who will be playing some well-known classic rock covers, the gaps will be filled with some funky grooves and golden oldies to complement a cash bar (normal pub prices) open all night. There wil be drink promotions, a costume judging competition and a silent charity auction guaranteeing that this will be a great night!

We have two sponsors with Youngs Brewery donating £500 and Laithwaites a case of their Autumn's Finest for the silent auction.  Then we have some Wembley tickets, theatre tickets, food hamper, and if all goes well a pair of Eurostar tickets to Paris and a couple of other things as well.  Anyone who may have something cool to donate for the silent auction, please get in touch with me (alexanderpohl@hsbc.com).
