Little Village (www.littlevillagehq.org) is a registered charity and works like a foodbank, but instead of food, provides high quality clothes, toys and equipment to families in need with children under the age of 5. They collect great quality donations from local families and give them out to other families in need via their network of referral partners, such as health visitors, midwives and Children's Centres. They have helped 500 children in the last year, providing them with everything from cots to socks and have become a real force for good in our local area. 1 in 4 children in Camden live below the poverty line and this level is more like 1 in 2 in the South of the borough.
