As most of you will know by now, it came as a huge shock when Rachel was diagnosed with Sarcoma Cancer on Christmas Eve 2020. There are over 200 different types of known cancers out there and some are so rare that surprisingly very little research has yet to take place to specifically treat them,

Throughout 2021 we undertook a variety of events with the main one happening in August  when David, Will, Barry and Phil undertook a Coast to Coast  Walk following the path of Hadrian’s Wall from East to West from Wallsend to Bowness on Solway, covering over 90 miles which we managed to complete  in just 4 days.  

We were truly blown away by the incredible generosity of friends and family in helping us raise the prenominal amount we've raised so far and are extremely grateful for everyone's donations.

As 2021 draws to a close, we are planning more events for 2022. more fundraising, more challenges and more spreading of Sarcoma Awareness.

We cant emphasise enough how thankful we are for every penny already donated and understand not everyone can afford to may wish to donate again and if that's the case simply spreading awareness is  all we ask. so again we're reaching out to our wider families and friends to help support us in raising money for The Christie particularly Sarcoma Research. Every single penny donated will go towards helping us play a small part in helping to eradicate the bloody awful disease.

As family and friends join us in our quest to raise funds for The Christie we’ve set ourselves a stretching target of £25,000 as our 2021/22 target with all fundraising all going towards this extremely worthwhile cause.
