Story
As a playground operator, children are at the heart of everything we do. Some of our wonderful staff are proving this by going the extra mile – well, 66 miles to be exact – walking the whole way around the Isle of Wight to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. Yes, you read that correctly, the whole way around the island.
While there may be easier things to do to raise money for such a great cause, we’re looking to make a big difference financially – with a target of £2400 – and we think that deserves a grand gesture. We need help to raise the money and are asking you to please donate whatever amount you can to this mammoth feat (which may end up leading to mammoth feet once it’s over) to show your backing.
619 children and young people from across the UK arrive for life-changing treatments at the hospital daily and it relies on charitable support to provide them with a care space that makes their stay as comfortable, welcoming and enjoyable as possible.
Our brave staff members are going to have an uncomfortable, unwelcoming and unenjoyable trek to support it, along with putting in the training hours on evenings and weekends, so please support them by donating whatever you can.
