In memory of Maisie Keverne
Amazing Maisie's fundraising group are determined to raise as much money as they can to support The Lily Foundation to fund research to find a cure for Mitochondrial Disease. A genetic disease that took her life in November 2018 aged just 6 months.

Story

Our daughter Maisie was a fighter, who made the very best of her short life of six months. Despite battling heart surgery at just two weeks' old, and fighting Mitochondrial disease her whole life, she was always smiling, giggling and kicking her little legs. She was breathtakingly beautiful and lit up everyone's lives who met her. She truly made the world a better place, and made us better parents.

She has inspired us to live our lives to the full - and one of the ways we're doing that is to set ourselves challenges, such as the Oxford Half Marathon. Before having children, I lived in Oxford for a while, and learnt to run there, so it is a place close to both of our hearts.

Neither Ben or I have ever ran as far as 12 miles - but we're going to try our hardest! If you could give any small amount at all, it would really spur us on in our training!

Please support us if you can and visit www.thelilyfoundation.org.uk to find out more about what they do and how the money we raise will make a difference. Thank you so so much for reading our story.
