Story
For over 20 years, The Salvation Army in Winton have been involved with The Salvation Army in the Ukraine.
This summer, around 40 individuals (myself included) will be travelling to the Ukraine as part of this year’s ‘Vision of Hope’ Project.
While I am there, I will be involved in a group whose intention is to run a kids club from the local school in Uhniv. This will be for the local children and also possibly for those from the surrounding villages.
At present, there are no regular clubs or entertainment for children or youths in Uhniv, and so it is important that we are able to run a kids club and provide a safe and fun environment for the young people in this community.
Our hope is that we are able to share with the local children and youth some of the opportunities for fun and fellowship which we, in the UK, often take for granted, and in doing so, we hope to further spread the light and love of Christ to those we meet along the way.
We will be so grateful for any donations, all of which will go directly to the ‘Vision of Hope’ Project 2020.
