My name is Hannah and I am currently in my final year of paediatric nursing. In my spare time I work as a ventilation carer with children who have exceptional health care needs. While working closely with these children and their families I have been given the opportunity to witness first hand what a difference respite facilities make to these incredible individuals.

At present families who live in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire have to travel a minimum of three hours to access the nearest respite facility. It is of paramount importance that these children and their families are given the opportunity to reap the benefits of an accessible respite facility and that is what Charlie House aims to deliver. However without the help of fundraising and donations this wouldn't be possible. So this is my plea to you, please donate what ever you can to ensure these children have a voice and get the facilities, stimulation and support they so desperately deserve!
