In April, i will have the opportunity to embark on a challenging and life-changing experience! BUT I NEED YOUR HELP! I have been selected to raise £800 before i leave through various fundraising events such as sponsored kayaking and gardening! WHO WE ARE?

Restless Development is championing a growing movement, led by a new generation that is more active, more connected and more able to lead the change needed than ever before. Our vision is that young people everywhere are able to demand and deliver a just and sustainable world. In the past 30 years our network of young volunteers has grown to over 17,000 people worldwide. They have trained, inspired and helped more than seven million children, young people, and community members in Africa, South Asia and the UK.

WHAT WE DO?

Restless Development values the work of young people volunteering around the world to campaign for a real social change. Providing vocational training and reproductive education for young women in the community, particularly focusing on the prevention of HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases, child marriage, unemployment and increasing the awareness of health and sanitation. Restless Development is a charity working towards the implementation of equal rights for EVERYONE.

WHERE WILL YOUR DONATION GO?

As ICS (international citizen's service) is a government funded scheme, your donation doesn't fund my place on the trip, instead it goes directly to Restless Development charity allowing them to continue to bring positive change to the developing communities they work with. Upon my return, i will continue to raise awareness of Restless Development by contributing and volunteering in my community at home.
