Story

On Saturday 10th June I’ll be taking on the Pilgrims Way Challenge and attempting to walk 34 miles from Wye to Dover via Canterbury.

My Mum passed away from cancer last September and not one day goes by that I don’t think about what an incredible, kind, funny and positive person she was. I will complete this walk in her memory, as a tribute to my Mum and to raise money for the remarkable Pilgrims Hospice. Sadly my Mum was too sick to be transferred to one of Hospices. The staff visited her in hospital and gave heartwarming support to us which I’ll remember forever.

As a charity the Pilgrims Hospice deliver skilled and compassionate end-of-life care, free of charge, to thousands of people in east Kent every year.Your support is appreciated and so important, thank you.
