Formula Student is a worldwide competition in which teams of University students design, manufacture and develop their own racing car. Our team, consisting of 30 members, is building an entirely electric car with the hope of racing at Silverstone against up to 120 competitors in the summer of 2016. 

The goal is to be the first UK team to race their own electric car. As you can imagine the process can be expensive and the team is looking for anyone interested in aiding us reaching our goal, donations of all sizes make the world of difference when working on a project such as this.

 My role is the manager of the Chassis team. I have to design and build the chassis ensuring we follow the Formula Student rules. By the end of December, I am looking forward to finalising the design for the chassis and get the Welding Jig sorted out to manufacture the chassis. I joined the team because it is very interesting and motivates me to learn more about my degree and about motorsport.
