Campaign by East Cheshire Hospice (RCN 515104)
Tough Woofer is our 5k muddy Obstacle course which you can take part in with all the family... including your dog!

Story

Aron and I will be escorting Sidney, our Bedlington Terrier, around the tough Woofer assault course which includes 15 obstacles, lots of water, mud and climbing challenges. It will be a fitness challenge for me and also a chance for Sidney to get his paws dirty :)

More importantly I would like to raise some money for East Cheshire Hospice , Macclesfield who looked after my lovely Nana before she sadly passed away from pancreatic cancer 8 weeks ago. She was lucky enough to spend her final days at East Cheshire Hospice who looked after her beautifully. Her room overlooked a garden she would have loved, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who attended to our (admittedly large!) family.

Many people think a hospice is somewhere people 'go to die', when actually they allow people to 'live' in their final days, as well as providing valuable respite care. I'm so glad my Nana got to go there, and as a little something in return, we are participating in Tough Woofer 2019. We hope by supporting the hospice (which is 85% reliant on donations and costs £345 per day) we can help out another family who need their amazing care. Please consider donating to this cause, anything would be much appreciated xxx
