This year I am running for Diabetes Uk. Last year I ran for a charity close that meant something to me and this year I'm running for a charity that is fighting against something that has affected my family. 

Almost 8 years ago I lost my Grandad. Someone who meant a great deal to me. He suffered from diabetes for a number of year before he passed. A lot of people, myself included, don't know how at risk they are to diabetes and the affect this can have on someone's life. 

Although any money raised would be greatly received it's not why I'm doing it. If I can help raise awareness for diabetes, then I can help more people know the little things they could do to reduce their risk of diabetes.
