2020 has been a tough year for many and with races cancelled I set my target on completing the Virtual Race Across Tennessee.

Initially 1000kms but having started I took on the extra challenge of completing the tough 'Out and Back' 2000km which was to be completed through the summer. To keep my motivation high I reset my goal for the year and dreamt of  3,000 miles in 2020.

To help me I have also taken on The Advent Calendar Accumulator - starting on the 1st December with 1 mile and increasing daily by a mile a day, finishing on Christmas Eve with 24 miles. That's 300 miles for the month of December and both challenges completed on the same day!

With your support I am aiming to raise £500 for Headway Jersey, the charity who supported my close friend Frank McFarlane for many years, following his original Brain Tumour and then a subsequent Stroke.
