Formula Student is a worldwide competition in which teams of University students design, manufacture and develop their own racing car. Our team, consisting of 30 members, is building an entirely electric car with the hope of racing at Silverstone against up to 120 competitors in the summer of 2016. 

The goal is to be the first UK team to race their own electric car. As you can imagine the process can be expensive and the team is looking for anyone interested in aiding us reaching our goal, donations of all sizes make the world of difference when working on a project such as this. 

My role is a member of the Aerodynamics and Body Work Team. I have to design the bodywork for the car and ensure it is as aerodynamic as possible. I am looking forward to going to the main event and seeing all our hard work paying off. I joined the team because it was a productive way of spending time, as well as using my degree to a practical end. I also enjoy being part of a team and getting valuable experience.
