Edinburgh Half Marathon 2018 · 27 May 2018 ·

Our mission is to put the power of computing and digital making into the hands of people all over the world. We do this so that more people are able to harness the power of computing and digital technologies for work, to solve problems that matter to them, and to express themselves creatively.

Story

Hello everyone,

Firstly thank you for taking an interest in supporting us.

On the 27th May, we will be running the Edinburgh Half Marathon in memory of our lovely Harry. This is the same race that Harry ran last year; his first half marathon.

Last year Harry managed to get an amazing sub-2 hour time with a training plan that consisted of sheer optimism, a number of sunny beach-front runs and a few too many chicken nuggets. He would agree that this is likely the best approach to any challenge in life.

This year we are running this race to raise money for a wonderful charity called Code Club in memory of Harry. In Harry we have lost a creative genius, a wizard of technology and the coolest nerd we know. Through raising money for Code Club we hope to support and enable the next generation of digital masterminds, providing them with an early insight into the world of code and giving them the opportunity to follow H into the world of creative technology.

Thank you in advance for your support, whether it be emotional, monetary, or in the form of baked goods, it is all gratefully received!
