Janet’s grandson Alfie was given lifesaving care by the NICU at the Luton and Dunstable Hospital nearly ten years ago and this cause meant a lot to her. 

The NICU Appeal was launched to raise additional funds to buy extra equipment and enhance the unit to ensure that all the babies will be treated in the best possible environment. 1 in 7 babies born at the Luton & Dunstable University Hospital will need specialist care. Over 900 premature and sick babies are treated in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) every year.
