Story
Thank you for visiting my just giving page!!!
- February 2019 my daughter Charlotte was diagnosed with FSGS (Focal Segmental Glomerulo Sclerosis) a rare incurable Chronic kidney disease!!
- A year of treatments that usually get others into remission didn’t work for Charlotte!
- So now it’s every 4months for Rituximab treatment in the hope of as near remission as possible
- 2020 COVID hits and treatment stopped like everything else!! No marathon!
- 2021 eventually treatment restarted, kidneys worse than at diagnosis 🤦♀️
- 2022 life is starting to return to normal!!!
- So it’s now 3rd time lucky at trying to RUN Edinburgh marathon!!!
Kidney care uk, was great for us at diagnosis, for information, support, help and advice as no one knew anything about FSGS, and very little known about it!!
So this is my way of helping give something back, and so others can get the help and support that had helped us!!!
So please if you can please help this amazing charity keep going!!!
