Those of you who went to Uni with me will know the name Will Mercer and those of you who didn't will do by the end of this paragraph. Amongst a lot of other things, Will was one of the kindest people I have ever met, he was brutally honest, and a delight to be around. He was one of my best friends. Sadly, Will passed away in June 2021 at the age of 22, a loss that has been hard for a lot of his friends and family. I am running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in his memory as he was always trying to get me to take up running; he loved it and I hated it. I have a voicenote of Will saying to me 'you don't back yourself and you should and I am bloody sick to death of it', well Will, i'm backing myself now. This one's for you x
