I work for Music Service-Services for Education. As a Music Service we teach over 38,000 children throughout the Birmingham Area. We support 50 Area Ensembles and 25 Central Ensembles. Our ensemble work is free at the point of access to enable every child, whatever their background or situation to benefit from this teaching and to fulfil their potential. Funding for the Arts is becoming increasingly reduced. As a not-for-profit educationally based charity we need to fund raise in order to continue to carry on providing the opportunities for the young people of Birmingham.
