There has never been a time when the mental health of our young people matters more than it does now. Our local children's mental health and support charities are doing a fantastic job supporting  young people and their families to get through this extremely challenging period. They are continuing to help local children and young people to develop and maintain emotional resilience through zoom workshops and other online services but they need our help. 

I decided to run 100k in February by doing short daily runs to help keep my own spirits up in what can be a difficult month but also to help to raise funds and awareness of the brilliant work of YKids https://ykids.co.uk and The Star Centre https://www.venuscharity.org/service/star-centre. All funds raised will be split between the two local charities and will hopefully help them to continue to support our young people and their families.

At the time of posting, I have run 78.3km. Only another 21.7km to go!
