Story
I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 5 years ago. At the time, I knew nothing about MS and had no idea what my future would hold. Searching the internet late one night, I found Overcoming MS, the world’s leading multiple sclerosis self-management charity. Through them, I discovered that there was plenty that I could do to increase my chances of a healthy future. Above all, I found hope. This March, I'm celebrating 5 years of no disease progression, something I never anticipated when I was first diagnosed. So to celebrate (and give a little back), I'm completing the VHI women's mini marathon in aid of OMS. I'm hoping to run it, but that will depend on training - we'll see how it goes! If you have any spare change, please consider supporting this amazing charity!
