Hi everyone -

Thank you for sponsoring us we made nearly £600 between the 2 of us which will be spent locally by Marie Curie. The event raised over £50,000 over teh weekend which is an incredible amount for 300 zipping down a wire at 35 miles per hour and having so much fun!!

Everyone has been so gerenous so I did add some photos to the site but very labourious and Ive got Jo doing some zooming so you can see us better

We are taking part in the First ever Zip wire challenge to be held across the River Trent in Nottingham. We will travel over 220 meters across the river from a starting height of 30 meters dangling from a wire!!

Did we mention Helen's scared of heights?

Why? Apart from the fact we love doing scary things, we are doing this to raise money for Marie Curie to help support Nursing care so people can recieve the care and support that they need.  They now care for around 50 per cent of all cancer patients who die at home. They work through the night or during the day to provide care for patients in the comfortable and familiar surroundings of their own home.
