I lost my Dad to Acute Myloid Leukaemia in January 2016 after only 6 weeks from his diagnosis. The hospital staff were amazing but unless this disease is caught early there’s not much that can be done, and it didn’t help that Dad also had an autoimmune disease with his crohns disease. I am determined to cross that finish line despite my bad back and arthritis in my hip, but unlike the last time I ran the London marathon, my dad won’t be at the finish line to meet me. Please help me raise money so that someone else can have a little longer with their loved ones.
