Story

Thanks for visiting my page. Charities are seeing an impact to their finances as a result of the coronavirus. Because of this I have decided to support the British Heart Foundation's research  by cycling 400 miles by the end of May and would be very grateful for your support. This is the same distance as the BBC Children in Need Rickshaw ride from Holyhead to London. You can follow my progress and rides on Strava (Rachel Hinett). To date I have already ridden 70 miles.

The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives. It's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures. £24 could pay for two hours of research by an early career scientist, but every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
