Story
Fyrish
I composed this tune in memory of my brother Mark who died in February 2020.
I felt that this would be a fitting way to celebrate his life and to say thank you for the care and compassion that he received in Highland Hospice, Inverness.
Fyrish is the monument at the top of Cnoc Fyrish, a hill overlooking the Cromarty Firth. This was a special place that Mark and his family visited on many occasions.
My heartfelt thanks go to all the players of our Scots Music Group class and tutor Keith Dickson - I am so grateful for their time and playing.
The care and support that Mark and his family received at Highland Hospice was exceptional and second to none. I hope that if you enjoyed watching our video that you may consider making a small donation to this charity
Thank You
