300 Miles in 30 Days

A Virtual Tour of CumbriaThroughout June, Trustees from Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw, Cumbria’s Children’s Hospice will embark on a 300 mile Virtual Tour of Cumbria to raise money for the hospice.

We have formed a group fundraising challenge to run, walk, ride or cycle the boundary line of Cumbria during the month of June. I have decided to run, walk, cycle and possibly canoe the 300 miles. 

We need to ensure that the hospice can continue to provide the highest quality, compassionate care and support to patients and families.Income, like that of other hospices across the country, is under huge pressure because of the impact of Covid-19. 

The ability to fundraise has been significantly affected as hospice shops have had to close, events cancelled and many people who were planning on supporting the hospice at work, at school, at home and elsewhere have had to suspend fundraising activities.

This is a massive challenge for me, but I am determined to give it a go. I hope you will consider sponsoring me in support of this essential charity. Each donation no matter how small will be very much appreciated and enable the Hospice to continue its vital work both now and in the future.
