500 miles is not just the name of a great song but the distance that Vicar Jimmy Hinton and wife Sarah Hinton will be cycling on their tandem to raise funds for the new floor and heating system. 

The 8 day bike ride will take them from one St Stephens to another. Their ride will even be including the fictional St Stephens Church in the BBC Radio 4 drama The Archers before reaching the half way point of St Stephens Church, Westminster. They will then head back up north stopping at another 3 St Stephen's Church on their way home.

 

This is going to be an incredible effort by Sarah and Jimmy, neither have ridden a tandem before and this will be a new distance for both of them.
