Story
Having regained my fitness following ankle surgery I have completed a couple of half marathons and done a bit of weight training. I was looking for a new challenge to stimulate my training, and what could be more motivational than the prospect of a fight?!
For those who don't know, Zero to Hero takes normal guys who have not boxed before and puts them through six weeks of training together. During this time we will be continually assessed before being matched with an equal opponent. There then follows four weeks in the 'red' or 'blue' team before fight night.
Fight Night is an incredible event (have a look on Youtube for a flavour of it!) and will be in Cannock on June 13th. If you'd like to attend, just give me a shout.
Tickets are £25 with £5 of that going straight to Hope House. If you want to give more to Hope House, please do. My place of work (Martin Kaye Solicitors) and the gym I 'occasionally' attend (Anytime Fitness Telford) both have strong links to Hope House so I'm well aware of the incredible work they do. Every penny counts and every penny is appreciated.
And yes... I am getting married in August. I'm sure two months will be long enough for any bruises to fade!
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
