Story

In memory of Russell, the Russell Hogg Charity, holds an annual Badminton Charity Event, this year to be held on 28th December 2017, Carnegie Centre, Dunfermline from 12 noon to 4pm.

The event attracts ex International and current international badminton players from both abled bodied and disability sport. Ex athletes who have represented their country at World Championships, Commonwealth Games, European Championships and those athletes with the hope of competing in Olympic Games in Disability sport will all be in attendance. They will be joined by family, friends, and some future young aspiring badminton players from the Dunfermline area to have fun and raise money.

The Trust hopes to raise £1000 on the day. This money is then donated to Scottish Disability Sport in the award to two bursaries to two athletes, decided by Scottish Disability Sport and awarded at their Annual General Meeting in September 2018.

Disability sport was such a passions of Russell's that it is a honour to continue to raise money for such a worthy cause.

Donations of any amount are most welcome.

Thank you all.

Julie
