The East Lancs Masonic Charity or ELMC are a small, independent charitable organization who support youth and community groups in Bury and East Lancashire.

In the past year they have issued grants to youth and cadet organizations, mental health charities, food banks, soup kitchens, sports clubs and more. Some examples here: https://www.elmc.co.uk/elmc-grants/

The smaller size of the charity means that every pound raised really makes a difference.

This year they are hosting a 13.5 mile / half-marathon hike in the Holcombe Moor and Ramsbottom area and I will be joining them with a small team to help raise funds for what is truly a worthy and community-centered cause.
