I have decided to take part in Caerphilly 10k to raise much needed funds for Velindre.
I myself have both family and friends that are fighting cancer, and sadly those that have lost their lives to the awful disease. Sadly, I would like to dedicate my run to my Auntie Sandra who sadly lost her battle with cancer at the beginning of the year. Unfortunately Cancer can affect any of us at any age, so it is really important to keep working towards a cure and keep finding new treatments. 
I love fitness and sports and this is something that is going to be a challenge for me but something I know I am going to enjoy. It will be tough, but not as tough as the pain and suffering caused by Cancer.
