As a team at Home Instead Reading we are walking in the right direction and raising money and awareness for this worthy cause. Tracey, Gay and I are walking 1 million steps each through out June, July and August. This is not something that we would usually do and want to push ourselves out of our comfort zone. I'm taking on the Summer Steps Challenge and walking one million steps to support families facing dementia.Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity. Our nurses, called Admiral Nurses, provide life-changing support to families affected by all forms of dementia. Working on the free national Helpline, in clinics and in the community, they are a lifeline to families who are feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and alone, helping them through the fear and confusion of living with dementia.
