Story

HSBC Midlands is supporting a social media campaign being led by Gymshark called #NHSSweatySelfie

Gymshark is donating £5 for every post-workout selfie that is posted on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook over the next seven days, using the hashtag #NHSSweatySelfie, with the aim of raising up to £175,000 for the patients and NHS heroes at Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospitals.

We want HSBC colleagues to get involved, and to make it easy for you, Gymshark will be running a live daily workout session for HSBC colleagues via Zoom every day next week, along with some yoga sessions (timings on separate comms).

Please join in with as many classes as you are able to. We would suggest a £5 sponsorship is made via the dedicated HSBC Just Giving page, for which HSBC matched fundraising will be obtained.

We are also encouraging colleagues to capture their workouts on the HSBC Now Share app in order to produce a montage of everyone joining in at home and getting behind this awesome campaign which is supporting our brilliant NHS workers and hospitals during this time of national emergency.

Don’t forget to post your workout selfie on to Facebook, Instagram or Twitter afterwards, using #NHSSweatySelfie to ensure Gymshark donates £5.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
