Edinburgh Marathon Festival 2012 · 26 May 2012 ·

We are here for anyone with epilepsy, their families, carers and employers. We campaign for improved healthcare and an end to stigma, influence policies that will affect the health, educational and social welfare of people with epilepsy and provide quality information and support services.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page in memory of Sylvia Stenhouse, my niece, who died last year, aged just 21, of Sudden Death In Epilepsy.

To honour this brave, talented, beautiful girl, the ladies in Sylvia's family set themselves a few challenges to raise funds for Epilepsy Scotland.

On May 13, Sylvia's mum Lilias, aunts Anita and Alison and cousin Liseli ran the Women's 10k in Glasgow.

I have been so inspired by their efforts that I have decided to run the Edinburgh HALF MARATHON on the 27th May in Sylvia's honour and try and raise some more much needed money for Epilepsy Scotland.

The ladies have done so well and now it's my turn and I would like your support to raise funds for Epilepsy Scotland in memory of Sylvia.

Many thanks for your kindness and support. xx
