Story

This September a team from DAS UK and the Insurance Industry will be taking part in the Deloitte Ride Across Britain cycling challenge to raise money for Insurance United Against Dementia (IUAD).

Over the course of nine days we will cover 980 miles and 55,000 feet of climbing - the equivalent to riding up Mt Everest from Sea Level twice! Staying in tented camps every night, this is an arduous challenge in every sense of the word, with over 110 miles to be ridden every day between 4th and 12th September.

Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
