We are raising money for St. Michael's to help our church and charities

We did it! We sang all 542 hymns in the New English Hymnal and it took almost 31 hours, ending just before 7pm on Saturday March 4th.

Thank you to all who sang, played the organ, made cakes, sandwiches, breakfast, tea and coffee!  Thank you also to those who have donated so generously and left lovely messages on our JustGivingFacebook and Twitter pages – and you can still do so!

We’re raising money to complete our Organ Fund and help our three charities for 2017 (which together will receive 20 per cent of the total):

The Upper Room, which helps the needy in Shepherds Bush;

Msaada, which helps Rwanda’s forgotten genocide survivors; and

The Amber Trust, which brings music to blind and partially sighted children

About the charity

30 years ago in 1987, we sang all the hymns in the New English Hymnal - from 1 to 542 - right through the night. In 2017, we're doing it again to celebrate our wonderful Organ, complete its funding and help our 2017 charities - The Upper Room, Msaada and The Amber Trust
