We grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.

Story

Our 9 year-old daughter Jessica first heard about the Little Princess Trust charity, who accept donations of hair to make real-hair wigs for children who have lost hair due to cancer treatment, three years ago and was keen to help.  It has taken her the last three years to grow her hair to the required length!  She has now been booked into the hairdresser the day following her 10th Birthday to have her hair chopped, and she is looking for sponsorship for another great charity, the Make-A-Wish foundation, to give her the courage to go through with it!  See below for some details of the work the Make-A-Wish foundation do.

Make-A-Wish UK grant magical wishes to enrich the lives of children and young people fighting life-threatening conditions. Granting their wish provides seriously ill children with hope for the future, strength to cope and resilience to fight their condition. They’re given quality time away from the daily realities of living with their condition and given the chance to make magical memories they can treasure forever – whatever their future may hold. We want to transform the lives of 1,000 children this year by granting their One True Wish!
