Story
My daughter Evie was born in 2018 with cystic fibrosis, a genetic condition which affects the whole body but mostly the respiratory and digestive systems. She has since been supported by CFK and will continue to receive support until her 18th birthday.
I'm running the Great South Run on 20th October 2019, the day after Evie’s first birthday and almost 10 years ago to the day that I last ran this race.
CFK support young people under QA Portsmouth who live with cystic fibrosis by providing faster flowing nebulisers, sports equipment and listening services.
Exercise has been well documented to be greatly beneficial to people living with cystic fibrosis and for this reason CFK also provide an activity grant of up to £350 per year to encourage young people with CF to take part in physical activities such as swimming, dancing and sports clubs.
Please help me raise money for this charity to help them continue to support young people just like Evie.
