Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In April 2015 I was diagnosed with throat cancer and from then on my life was in the hands of those remarkable people at the Churchill Hospital. I was given six weeks of radical chemo-radiotherapy, which basically sorted me out, and a neck dissection, where they cleared any residual cells in my lymph nodes. I was given the all clear in November.

It's time to give something back. My daughter and I are going to abseil 100 feet down the JR building. I want to do a marathon again but it'll be a long time before I get that energy. I'm running again but in the meantime I can dangle on the end of a rope without much trouble. In fact a lot of people have waited to see me doing that!

So please help me and Philly by sponsoring us with a few bob. The money will go to the Churchill surgical unit. Or better still sign up and do the jump. It'll cost you £20. Many thanks.
