Story

Every year more than 8,000 people have surgery at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford - many for cancer conditions.

Almost all of these patients will spend time in the Day Surgery Unit before and after their operation.

Oxford University Hospitals is embarking on a project to expand and redesign the unit. We are working alongside the Trust to make this new space more welcoming and comfortable with significantly better privacy for patients.

We know these changes will make a huge difference to so many patients, particularly at a time that can feel stressful and uncertain.

We are looking for support from the local community to help us raise £100,000 to make these changes.

Please do make a donation and think about ways in which you, your business or community group can help - perhaps by nominating the appeal as your local charity to support this year.
