Hamble Lifeboat

Hamble Lifeboat is an independent Lifeboat Service which was founded in 1968. We operate in the Solent and Southampton waters and receive on average about 120 Incidents per year. We rely on donations from the general public to fund the continued operation of the service.

Charity Registration No. 265661

Story

Being independent we (and other members of the Solent Sea-Rescue Organisation) receive no funding from the RNLI.  It is therefore down to our own efforts to keep this much used service running.  We would like to buy more medical equipment and fund the training for some of our crew as medics.  This will enable us to provide immediate treatment at the scene rather than having to wait until we can get casualties to shore.

On behalf of me and the rest of the crew any donations you can give will be very much appreciated and put to this incredibly good cause.
