Story

UPDATE 25th July - I am thrilled to confirm that representing Thanet XI on the 27th August shall be former Everton, Charlton and Wigan Athletic finisher Marcus Bent, sporting his notorious number 9 like he did in his prime!

Representing Garden of England FC, I am delighted to confirm the legendary YouTube channel Where's My Challenge shall be represented! As well as this there are plenty more names to be announced to represent The Garden.

---

I am hosting a charity football match at Hartsdown Park in Margate, on 27th August 2022. This match shall be in support of Crohn's and Colitis UK, with full proceeds going to the cause. Thanet XI will challenge Garden of England FC on a remarkable coastal Summer evening for a 18:00 kick-off with some recognisable faces being present for the occasion.

A little bit of background about the event - I myself have recently overcome a 17-month flare-up of Colitis, and I hope to create more understanding of the condition by creating an event which creates a real buzz. It would be remarkable for the community to join us in this charity match to help fundraise for this cause which looks to help cure a condition which tarnishes the mobility and emotional wellbeing of nearly 300,000 UK citizens.

You can donate through this page to the cause, or if you wish to play a role in participating in the match - do feel free to email ibdvisible@gmail.com or get in touch by contacting 07920329226 and I'll get you a spot in either team!
