As Muslims we are always taught the importance of brotherhood and sisterhood in Islam. We are taught that the Muslim ummah is like a body, and if one part of the body is aching then the whole body feels the pain. So that is why it is so important to support our family around the world that desperately need our help.

Human Relief Foundation works closely with Rohingya refugee camps & many poor places in Bangladesh, distributing food packs, medical kits, education supportand other essential aid all year round. This is only possible if we donate to support them.

Our Rohingya brothers and sisters once lived ordinary lives like all of us. However, since 2016 they have been facing a genocide. People are being beaten to death, burnt to death, raped & tortured. How inhumane is this. It is unimaginable to even think of what they are/have faced. Some have been able to seek refuge in Bangladesh, yet they are still desperately struggling as they need basic essentials. Essentials we often take for granted. 

 I will be climbing the highest peak in the Wales to raise money for these people. My aim is to raise awareness and money for Human Relief Foundation who are on the ground in countries like Bangladesh, giving out essential aid to these refugees in the form of food packs, medical equipment and shelter etc. 

 It was narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: “There is no day on which the people get up but two angels come down and one of them says, ‘O Allah, give in compensation to the one who spends (in charity),’ and the other says, ‘O Allah, destroy the one who withholds.”
