Stop Press: Well we did it. We completed the 100km in 27 hours and 52 minutes arriving back to Skipton just before noon yesterday (Sunday). It was an epic journey and all made possible by our fantastic support crew of Judith and Rachel who fed and watered us throughout. We all have the blisters, swollen feet and aching muslces to prove we did it. We came in 37th out of the 129 teams who started the event. A great experience, friendly people, beautiful scenery and a very worthwhile cause.
On June 5th 2010 Mark, Steve, Nick and Jeremy AKA The Ingorious Legitimates will be walking the Oxfam Trail Trek 100 km not stop across the Yorkshire Dales. Having completed the junior version on the South Downs in 2008 and sworn "never again", we are now ready to go that step further. Of course we are not doing this simply to lose the skin on our feet again. No, we are also asking for your help too. We are taking the opportunity to raise money for the good works of Oxfam. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send you unwanted emails.
Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to Oxfam and ensure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - we raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
So please dig deep and donate now. Oxfam and our feet will appreciate it.
