I live in Lower Saxony, Germany and work as a chemical engineer. Some years ago I suffered a serious kidney disease and almost lost both Kidneys. Thankfully I am fully recovered from that disease and am a keen cyclist riding approximately 10,000km per year. During my recovery I learned the importance of physical as well as mental fitness. Cycling gave me the power not to give up, which is now my advice to all who suffer from any disease. There is a saying in Germany, “Those who fight can lose but those who do not fight have lost already.” I ride proudly for Brain Tumour Research and thank you for your support
