Story
The pandemic certainly shook the world up. One intention I've had since it began, is to help those who are less fortunate and in need.
On 17 September I will cycle 120km around Ibiza (the longest, steepest cycle I have attempted!) to help raise money for two separate causes.
The charities;
Soteria Network
The Soteria Network are a network of people in the UK promoting the development of drug-free and minimum medication therapeutic environments for people experiencing ‘psychosis’ or extreme states. They are part of an international movement of service users, survivors, activists, carers and professionals fighting for more humane, non-coercive mental health services
Over a quarter of a million people in the UK are living with 'Schizophrenia' and thousands more are carers or family & friends of people who 'hear voices.' Yet this condition remains one of the most poorly understood and under-resourced of all our health issues

It still ceases to amaze me that we live on such an abundant planet, yet there are still millions without access to clean water
Drop4drop funds sustainable clean water solutions to countries that need it most. They demand accountable, effective and efficient provision of clean water. How do they achieve this? They employ local labourers and heavily involve the community in the project creating a sense of ownership and pride. They also provide maintenance training and hygiene education to ensure maximum longevity. Every project they undertake provides clean water to a community of over 1000 people in India and up to 350 in Africa who have never before had this privilege.
They have helped LNADJ install over 29 wells to date and continue to expand each year.
